This guide explains how to create an open match in the system as an administrator. Open matches allow players to join a booking without predefining all participants.
Step 1: Open Locations
Navigate to the location section in the admin panel and select your preferred time for creating an open match.
Step 2: Set Basic Reservation Details
Fill in the required booking details:
Location: Select the club or venue.
Date & Time: Choose when the match will take place.
Court: Select the court (e.g., Platz 1).
Duration: Set how long the match lasts (e.g., 30 minutes).
Weeks: Define if this is a recurring booking.
Number of cancellations allowed: Set cancellation limits if needed.
Step 3: Configure match type
Under Type, choose:
Shared match
This enables multiple players to participate and split the booking.
Step 4: Enable Open Match
Check the “Open match” option.

Enabling this allows other players to discover and join the match themselves.
Step 5: Set Payment Configuration
Payment type: Select shared (recommended for open matches).
Payment method: Choose how payments are handled (e.g., online).
Step 6: Define Number of Players
Set number of players
You can leave additional player slots empty for open match participants.
Step 8: Set Pricing
Price: Enter the total price (e.g., €20.00)
Extra cost (optional): Add any additional fees
With shared payment, the system will divide costs among players.
Step 9: Add Optional Information
Note: Add any relevant match details (e.g., skill level, rules)
Send notification: Keep enabled to notify participants
Step 10: Create the reservation
Review all details.
Click “Create reservation”.
What Happens Next?
The match becomes visible to other players as an open match.
Players can join the match themselves until all spots are filled.
Payments are handled according to your selected configuration.
