Segmentation allows you to create targeted groups of users and link them to specific discounts, pricing, or booking rules.
1. Create a segment
Go to the Segmentation section and click “Create segment”.
You will see a setup form like in the screenshot.
2. Basic information
Name*

Examples:
- Padel Members
- League Players
- Corporate Clients
Description
Optional, but recommended.
Explain what this segment is for.
Example: Players who are part of the weekly padel competition
Image
Upload an image to visually represent the segment (optional).
Useful if segments are shown in the front-end or app.
3. Link a discount

Limit how far in advance users in this segment can book.
Examples:
- 7 days → standard users
- 14 days → premium members
5. Pricing model
Charge*
Choose how users are charged:
- One-off → Single payment (e.g. event or temporary access)
- Monthly (recurring) → Subscription-style access
Price*
Set the price for joining this segment.
Examples:
- €0 → Free segment (e.g. promo group)
- €10/month → Membership
- €25 → Tournament entry
6. Validity period
Start date*
When the segment becomes active.
End date*
When the segment expires.
π‘ Useful for:
- Seasonal memberships
- Events or tournaments
7. Visibility
Visible
- Yes → Users can see and join this segment
- No → Hidden (only assign manually or via admin)
8. Final step
Click “Create segment” to save.
